Vice General Manager Lin stated: In active response to the county Party committee and county government’s key urban heating project—“doing practical things for the people”—and in order to reduce urban pollution emissions, improve air quality, and create a beautiful environment of “green mountains, clear waters, blue skies, and white clouds,” our company is fully cooperating with the county Party committee and county government to supply all of the blast furnace’s waste heat to the urban area for winter heating. The project spans 23 kilometers, with all pipelines laid underground, and will provide heating to an area of up to 1.8 million square meters. The total estimated investment is RMB 300 million. With a tight construction schedule, we will work around the clock, overcome every challenge, and strive to complete and put the project into operation by the end of October, ensuring that the vast majority of urban residents can enjoy a warm and peaceful “winter” this year.
