“Donggang” Honor

　　Donghai Special Steel has become a director unit of the China Iron and Steel Association; a vice-president unit of the Hebei Provincial Metallurgical Industry Association; a vice-president unit of the Tangshan Iron and Steel Industry Association; a vice-president of the Tangshan Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce; and the chairperson (president) unit of the 12th term of the Luan County Federation of Industry and Commerce.

　　It has been awarded the AAA‑level Credit Unit designation by the Hebei Provincial Agricultural Bank and recognized by the municipal government as an Advanced Unit for “Honoring Contracts and Valuing Credit.” In May 2011, it was named an Advanced Enterprise for Meeting Environmental Standards by the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau. Also in 2011, it received honors from the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology as an Advanced Enterprise for Energy Conservation and an Advanced Unit for Spiritual Civilization Development. In 2012, it was commended by the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government as an Advanced Unit for Civilized Construction. From 2012 to 2013, it was recognized by the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government as an Advanced Enterprise for Tangshan’s Industrial Transformation and the Second Entrepreneurial Drive of Private Enterprises. Between 2010 and 2014, it was honored by the Tangshan Municipal Work Safety Committee as an Advanced Unit for Work Safety in Tangshan. From 2009 to 2011, it was lauded by the County Work Safety Committee as an Advanced Enterprise in Work Safety. In 2013, it was selected by the Municipal United Front Work Department and the Federation of Industry and Commerce as one of the “Top Ten Enterprises in Transformation and Upgrading.”
