Energy conservation and emissions reduction, low-carbon operations

　　During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, environmental protection investments totaled RMB 2.8 billion, resulting in the upgrading of high‑energy‑consumption, high‑emission process equipment and the installation of 269 new environmental protection units. Coking operations adopted advanced dry quenching technology, achieving cost reduction and energy savings while cutting emissions. A comprehensive wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 1,400 tons per hour was constructed, and green space now covers 21% of the plant site. The operational rate of environmental protection equipment reached 100%, with zero discharge of wastewater; emissions of all pollutants comply with the current national emission standards.
